Steven LePresidentHowdy folks! Well, my name is Steven and my favorite hike in SoCal has to be in Whitewater Preserve. The landscape is filled with vibrant autumn colors if you visit during the right time of the year and there are so many trails that offer different perspectives of the canyon. I always find something new there. My favorite outdoor activities are bodysurfing, open water swimming, and of course hiking. A memorable moment that I had with Adventure club was all of their hikes and camping trips. However, I enjoy nice long road trips with a couple of new faces. Camping at Sage Hill offered all of that. Santa Barbra was fun and is staying in memory lane. As for myself, I am pushing towards a Marketing Degree although I had switched quite a few times. I guess it's because I have a lot of goals but I originally came from a Psychology and Sociology background. I am fluent in English and learning more Vietnamese.
Cody BakerVice PresidentMy favorite hike in Socal is certainly Mount Baldy, as it was the first peak I've climbed amongst great friends. Plus, the variation between rocky plateaus and frosty pines on snowy slopes in late spring is a treat in all senses! Apart from hiking, most of my favorite outdoor pastimes are aquatics-related (long-distance swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, etc.) My favorite camping trip so far has been Council Campground, since the wide-open spaces and great weather were perfect for unwinding and soaking up the great social atmosphere. My major is mechanical engineering; which I hope to use as a special effects technician in the film industry someday. I speak English and, though I was raised in a Vietnamese household, I only know how to count to three. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sabrina DhaliwalSecretaryMy favorite hike in SoCal would be Sturtevant falls because of how much greenery and shade there is. The waterfall at the end is a huge bonus too. I love to play soccer, it has been a huge part of my life for the past 12 years and it shaped me to be the competitive person I am today. My favorite camping trip would be at Palomar mountain because it was so cold and we all still tried to have a great time. My major is Communicative Disorders and I chose it because I would love to work with kids and increase their quality of life. I speak English, some Spanish, some hindi.

Treasurer I enjoy hiking, camping, and fishing because nature is calming yet surprising, and it gives me material for my other hobby photography. One of my favorite hikes is Strawberry Peak. The trail is full of beautiful mountainous views, and is quite challenging. It pushed my terrible cardio to the limit; near the peak I had to take a break every minute. While we were resting at the peak, a swarm of bees came out of nowhere and sent the whole club ducking for cover. My favorite camping trip is at Falcon Camp in spring 2019. It rained non-stop for 2 days. I woke up after the first night, in wet pants and sleeping bag because my tent leaked, and my shoes were soaked outside. But it was worth it when the rain stopped for a while and we went to see a vibrant poppy field nearby (first time for me). I gained new appreciation for the leaders who cooked for us in raincoats, and it inspired me to become one. I speak English and Vietnamese. My major is computer science. I like solving problems by programming. Samuel MossEvent Coordinator Chair
My favorite hike in SoCal has to be Sturtevant Falls for its absolute gorgeous waterfall and when available fun rope swing, plus along the trail we saw a deer in the distance. One of my outdoor pastimes is kayaking because I find it very peaceful, an amazing workout, and I have been kayaking since I was five years old. My favorite camping trip with Adventure Club would be Bandido for the spectacular views and the massive fire pit. A lot of memories are made at every event. I am a technical theatre major specializing in sound and lighting, I chose this major because I love the behind the scenes aspect of theatre. I speak fluent English and I know some Hebrew.
